Raymie Nightingale

The book is called "Raymie Nightingale." By Kate DiCamillo. It is about a girl named Raymie who finds a new friendship with two other girls. Their adventures and imaginations are wild, and they have one crazy summer. The only problem is Raymie's father ran away with a Dental Hygienist. So Raymie wants to win the Miss Little Central Florida 1975, hoping that her father would see her in the paper and come home.
